Pitch-Free
RichTech proudly hosts “Pitch-Free” events that encourage a broad cross section of our membership and outstanding speakers to participate. We encourage all to network, meet new people, learn more about their customers, and catch up with old friends all while leaving the pitches to a more appropriate time.

Registration

All attendees must have a paid registration to enter an event. Advance registration and payment is required. Pre-registration will close 24/48 hrs prior to the event. Once pre-registration has closed, all registrations will be considered a “walk-in registration” and will be assessed an additional fee to any payment rendered. Events for which payment is not required will not be assessed this fee. For sold-out events, no walk-ins will be accepted.

Photo Release
By registering for this event, I hereby consent to and authorize the use and reproduction, in print or electronic format, by RichTech or its authorized agents, of any and all photographs which may be taken of me at this event, for any publicity purpose, without compensation. I acknowledge and agree that all images, whether electronic, negatives and positives or otherwise, together with the prints, are owned by RichTech. I hereby acknowledge that I am 18 years of age or older and have read and understood the terms of this authorization and release.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to margaret@richtech.com more than two business days in advance in order to receive a refund. No-shows will not receive a refund.

RichTech provides registration confirmations ONLY upon request. If you would like to confirm your registration, please send your request to margaret@richtech.com and we will be happy to check your registration status.

Code of Conduct
The Richmond Technology Council (Council) is dedicated to providing positive, harassment-free experiences for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of Council participants in any form. Council participants include attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers and staff.

Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any Council venue, including talks. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, unwanted photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the Council retains the right to take any actions to maintain a welcoming environment for all participants. This includes warning the offender or expulsion from the Council or event without refund. The Council may take action to redress anything designed to, or with the clear impact of, disrupting events or making environments hostile for any participants.

We expect participants to follow these rules at all event venues and event-related social activities.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please report it immediately. You can report it to a member of the Council staff, event committee member or to the Executive Director contact listed below.

Our team will be happy to help you contact security, local law enforcement, local support services, provide escorts, or otherwise assist you to feel safe during all Council events. We value your participation. We expect participants to follow these rules at all Council venues and Council-related social events. If you find this policy restrictive, please do not attend or speak at Council events.
